Ebonyi State University’s Professor Ifeyinwa Nsude made a significant impact at the 11th National Conference of the Association of Communication Scholars & Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN), held at the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja.

In her presentation, Prof. Nsude emphasized the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in understanding and mapping public opinions, particularly in Nigeria's diverse and dynamic environment.
She highlighted how AI can enhance the accuracy of public opinion mapping through innovative techniques. She recommended that the media should actively raise awareness about AI's potential and advocate for the government and stakeholders to create an enabling environment for AI technologies in Nigeria.
Additionally, she urged media professionals to initiate campaigns aimed at educating the youth on the importance of AI in public opinion mapping.
The conference gathered communication scholars and professionals who discussed the necessity for government and stakeholders to integrate AI into their governance and activities.
Prof. Nsude concluded with a cautionary note about the overuse of AI, drawing parallels to the biblical story of the Tower of Babel, which resulted in the scattering of humanity through diverse languages.
