Our Provost Obiasogu has not retired , Ignore the publication is coming from detractors- School Management.

The recent article published by The Pressman Newspaper, alleging the forced retirement of Pharm. Obiasogu, the Acting Provost of Imo State College of Health & Management Sciences, is both false and misleading.

This was contained in a press release signed by the College Public Relations unit.

The claims in the article are inaccurate. Pharm. Obiasogu has not received any directive for retirement from the Educational Authorities, and he continues to serve as the Acting Provost.

According to the, the visit by the Imo State House of Assembly was merely a routine fact-finding mission, with no findings or issues that would necessitate a change in leadership.

Furthermore, the release of admission forms for the 2024/2025 academic session is a standard procedure and should not be misconstrued as indicative of any leadership changes.

We encourage the public to disregard the erroneous information presented in the article and to seek verification from official sources before accepting such claims as fact.

Pharm. Obiasogu and the college administration remain dedicated to delivering high-quality education and services, undistracted by unfounded rumors and misinformation.

The release  revealed that the publication is coming from an individual who wants to become the provost at all costs, but there was no report indicting Obiasogu or any staff during their visit to the state House of Assembly.
