Ngor-Okpala NULGE Visits LG boss Kizito, Pledges Continuous Support

 


The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ngor Okpala chapter, has paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Ngor-Okpala Sole Administrator, SOLAD, Hon Kizito Onuoha, declaring its unflinching support for his administration.


The Executives of the union, made up of dedicated Ngor Okpala Local Government Employees also congratulated the Ngor Okpala Solad on his well-deserved appointment describing him as one of the best things to have happened to the council area.


Speaking during the visit at the Ngor- Okpala Head quarters Umuneke ,Chairman of the Union, Comrade Emmanuel Echereodo (Ecko) recognized the council boss's dedication to improving the welfare of Local Government Employees and the entire LGA, saying it's in alignment with the union's objectives.


The Union expressed confidence in Hon. Onuoha's ability to drive positive change, inspire growth, and elevate the local government to new heights.


This visit presents an opportunity for the Union to formally welcome Hon. Onuoha to his new role and reaffirm their cooperation and support.


Receiving the Executives of the Union in his office, Hon. Onuoha expressed his profound joy at the union's visit, noting that they had earlier identified with him by attending his inauguration in Owerri, which to him, is an unwavering show of solidarity and support for his administration. He promised to prioritize the union's concerns and work tirelessly towards their shared goals.


Hon. Onuoha extolled the leadership of Ngor Okpala NULGE, commending Comr. Echereodo for his support before and after his appointment as SOLAD. 


While observing some constraints facing Ngor Okpala Council workers, such as an inaccessible road to their working place, Hon Onuoha promised to do something within his capacity to make the road motorable again, so that workers will no longer have any excuse for not coming to work every working day.


He commended Echereodo for his assistance in providing him with useful information for the ongoing primary school rehabilitation program he is embarking on, as directed by the Governor. 


Hon. Onuoha reaffirmed his unvarying commitment to lay a legacy before leaving office as Ngor Okpala Solad, irrespective of the period, be it long or short, he will be staying in office. He said there was no way he would achieve his intended goals of developing Ngor Okpala without partnering with the Union. 



The visit was marked by warm exchanges, productive discussions, and a strong display of solidarity, signifying the beginning of a fruitful partnership between the union and Hon. Onuoha in his capacity as SOLAD.
