Former member of the House of Representatives from Kogi State, Hon. Mohammed Idris, has passed away. Mohammed, who represented Ankpa, Olamaboro, and Omala Federal Constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, died suddenly after observing Eid prayer at his residence in Abuja on Wednesday.
The son of former Governor Ibrahim Idris of Kogi state, Mohammed's death comes as a shock to many. According to reports gathered by IMO NEWS he slumped and died shortly after the prayer session.
The late lawmaker will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites at Gudu cemetery in Abuja. His sudden demise has left a void in the political landscape, and tributes are pouring in from colleagues, friends, and constituents.
