There's a popular saying that goes thus; "Think you first what you will do for America and Not what America will do for you"
Taking a cue from the above quote, it is clear to everyone that It will be very patriotic of all Imolite to always think about Imo first before anything else. It may seem to some that the system is not moving in the pace they expect it to but that doesn't mean that it's not moving at all. All we need is to give it the required support and constructive advise for it to work for you and all.
Those who are selfish with everything will always attempt to monopolize it but it will be patriotic of you to challenge them with facts and not joining them in denting the image of the state the more.
The government of Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma is doing everything possible to return Imo to her pride of a place. All the developmental programs the government has rolled out are all geared towards making Imo an envy of other state. With the youth, worker and entrepreneur friendly policies of the government, Imo is projected to grow at an optimal level in the nearest future.
It is ours to discourage anything that will bring the state down or discredit the state before her peers. Imo currently is enjoying the good will of the federal government which has attracted lots of largesse to us. This is not unconnected with the bridge building process of the state governor. We need to sustain this tempo by being Imo friendly in all of our activities.
The state government met many challenges on ground and some that befell it but it didn't deter her from working for the people. It is obvious that most of those problems were/are man made to distract the government or to portray it in bad light before the outside world but the government didn't fall for it. Rather it is doing her bits to make the state safe and serene for all despite the huge cost that comes with it.
As a youth, you're required to think about your future, the future of your kids and the land before taken up any role in destroying the state in whatever guise it may appear because you will have your self to blame when the reality dawns on you that those who employed you were just doing that for their selfish gains.
Finally, Imo is ours to build and not to plunder and plunge into unimaginable chaos. Let's not born the house down simply because it is leaky but let's plan and work on how to fix the leaky portions. May Imo succeed and continue to recover.
