Addressing journalists over the weekend at Ngor- Okpala, NLF Chairman, James Okoroji a renowned pharmacist known for activism, said Mr George Onwukwe is a domestic staff of a commissioner from Ngor Okpala.
Okoroji who spoke on behalf of the group claimed that Hon Onwukwe deviated from what is on ground and talked about lies and nonsense without any evidence to back it up.
"We are sure that he is acting on a poorly written script for him. We as a group are now challenging him to list the communities, and contractors that benefitted from the boreholes, health care centres and police posts because members of Apc Ngor Okpala are not aware of these monumental achievements except Mr Onwukwe and his cohorts. "
"Mr George Onwukwe should also itemize the projects with the names of contractors and where they are from in Ngor Okpala and of course the name of APC Commissioner, representing Ngor Okpala in (ISOPADEC) as he claimed." George Onwukwe should also provide list of Ngor Okpala APC stakeholders given award letters on the current SUBEB jobs because such jobs are usually given to party faithfuls that have not received viable appointments and this is usually ways to compensate party members until they are settled. Unfortunately, in Ngor Okpala and the state with the present administration such jobs are given to strange fellows that played no role in APC during the campaign and election periods.
"Why should Ngor Okpala have only a Special Adviser (SA) and a commissioner compared with our sister local government Aboh Mbaise with less landmass and population have a commissioner, a deputy chief of staff of Administration and four Special Advisers. How can an Mbaise man (be) chosen over and above Ngor Okpala person as SA for aviation on an airport built on Ngor Okpala soil? Shame to the so called APC leaders from Ngor Okpala that claimed to be close to the corridors of power but can't bring dividends Of democracy to Ngor Okpala. Is important for them to know that this government is already one year in office without anything on ground to show for it in Ngor Okpala.
"Ngor Okpala is waiting and will teach them a lesson at the right time. Let it also be on record that Dr Ethelbert Okere a renowned author, journalist per excellence and Hon Chief Blyden Amajirionwu got their appointments on their own relationship and connections with the present administration not as APC members."
The chairman of NLF, further said Mr Onwukwe was never an LGA boss, disclosing that he left Camp Hope PDP and Joined Ihedioha group after the Sheriff and Markaffi Supreme court case favoured Ihedioha group but lost on his selfish bid to be a delegate in his Ward (4), in Ngor Okpala because he is known as a very unreliable light weight politician that will sell out any one including his principal for peanuts.
"Ngor Okpala APC are now wondering how George Onwukwe could have staked his life for APC when, we all know that he secretly came back to APC through the back door waiver aided by his boss and child hood friend for many years now. "
"It went on "let it be noted as well that George Onwukwe as well, never attended any tribunal case in Owerri during the long delibration in IMO State before the case was transferred to Abuja, never went to Abuja for either the tribunal ruling, Appeal Court ruling, supreme Court ruling or the final supreme Court Review verdict. Therefore, Mr George Onwukwe is wrong to claim that he risked his Life. In fact Mr Onwukwe is not a member of APC in Ngor Okpala if not for the waiver given to him by his boss. "
"While advising Mr Onwukwe not to, out of sycophancy and selfish interest create disaffection among Ngor Okpala people, the group was emphatic that every son and daughter of the LGA must first and foremost ensure that what is due to their people gets to them. Mr Onwukwe must now without delay inform his principal and close associates and representatives of the governor that there is no sign of APC in Ngor Okpala. " Onwukwe must know that no one can stop an idea which it's time has come. The few appointments in Ngor is still lopsided favouring one court Area only Okpala Court Area with only (2) Inec wards in a large local government you have court five Court Areas and (11) Inec Wards. Four Court Areas and (9) INEC Wards are left to suffer. This must be addressed sooner than later.
"No leader of APC can afford a bag of rice this coming festive period through political patronage except one or two people or two appointees and the wealthy Apex leader who has been deliberately betrayed before the governor with falsehood and lies. APC has no office in Ngor Okpala because the building the party occupied during Governor Rochas Okorocha's tenure has been sold." Onwukwe and his strange cohorts must take note!!!!?
